Installation

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations in the cellbot dashboard
  2. Click Connect Shopify
  3. Enter your Shopify store URL (e.g., mystore.myshopify.com)
  4. You’ll be redirected to Shopify to authorise the app
  5. Click Install on the Shopify authorisation screen

Add the Widget to Your Theme

After connecting, add the widget to your Shopify theme:
  1. Go to Shopify Admin > Online Store > Themes
  2. Click Customize on your active theme
  3. In the theme editor, go to App Embeds
  4. Enable the cellbot Widget embed block
  5. Click Save

Payments

When connected to Shopify, cellbot will attempt to use Shopify Payments for checkout. If Shopify draft order creation fails (e.g., on development stores), it automatically falls back to Stripe Checkout.
You need Shopify Payments enabled on your store for native payment processing. Otherwise, Stripe will be used as the payment method.

Webhooks

cellbot automatically receives webhooks from Shopify for:
  • Order paid — Updates ticket status when payment completes
  • App uninstalled — Cleans up connection credentials
