WhatsApp messaging uses the same Twilio integration as SMS.
Prerequisites
- Twilio account with WhatsApp enabled
- A WhatsApp-enabled Twilio number
Configuration
WhatsApp uses the same Twilio credentials as SMS. Once your Twilio account is configured in Settings > Communications, WhatsApp messages will be sent automatically to customers who have WhatsApp-compatible phone numbers.
Message Templates
WhatsApp messages support rich formatting including emojis and line breaks. Customise your templates in Settings > Notifications.
